About me and my journey

I have two children and each pregnancy and birth has brought new challenges and emotions. Becoming a mother for the first time forced me to finally deal with past trauma. As my baby was growing I felt like everything that I tried so hard to hold in couldn’t be contained anymore.

Through therapy and lots of painting, I was able to process my complex emotions. To heal and see the intense strength—and love—I had for my child. I can look at the paintings I’ve made about loss, love, pain, fragility and see my journey. I see my children and how they helped me become the person I am today.

This healing and peace have been such a gift to me. I know that it can be for you as well. Let’s use art to celebrate your journey.
